An upcycled tote bag is a beautiful way to carry all those extra essentials. Ours come with the added bonus that they are upcycled from repurposed sari chindis (fabric scraps), making them zero-waste products.

Produced by a social initiative in India that provide training opportunities to disadvantaged women, each upcycled tote bag purchase helps to empower underprivileged women with new tailoring skills. Skills able to transform their lives.

Small: 35 x 32cm
Large: 45 x 33 x 11cm (with gusset)

As these are upcycled, each tote bag is unique but you can choose a colour preference. To add a gift note for your upcycled tote bag, please just add 'request' in the order message.

If you are ordering more than one unit and would like a combination of colours please just add each one separately to your basket.

Shipping & Returns

Orders are shipped within 1-2 working days, and postage is First Class to the UK and Airmail for international orders. Shipping is free over £40 and calculated at checkout.

I recently acquired a PriPri recycled sari bag from a local charity shop. I liked it so much I looked online to see what else was on offer!. I decided to order a new one, it arrived within two or three days. Nicely packaged and free UK postage. What’s not to like? Very pleased with PriPri’s service.

Exactly as described

My bag arrived well packaged and as described. I love it! Is it so perfect it looks like its been manufactured in a factory?, no, it’s much more original than that. These bags are handmade so come with a little imperfect stitching, however, they are robust and well put together using beautiful fabric. The inside is a lightweight calico material which will help keep the bag in good condition. I initially thought a matching polyester lining material would have looked better but it wouldn’t have been strong enough to keep the bag in shape.
