The Story Behind Pri Pri

Hi, I'm Priya, founder of Pri Pri. My love for textiles began beside my sari-clad grandmother, a skilled dressmaker who taught me to sew and, more importantly, taught me to value every scrap of fabric rather than waste it. That lesson became the heart of Pri Pri, where reclaimed fabrics and pre loved saris are turned into sustainable, unique pieces for the home.

From Rescued Saris to Sustainable Art

Every wreath begins with rescued upcycled sari fabrics that were once destined for landfill. By bringing these vibrant textiles into a circular economy, we give vintage Indian fabrics a beautiful second life in your home.

Hundreds of individual fabric strips are carefully selected and layered together, preserving the rich textures, colors, and memories woven into every thread.

Crafted by Hand, Empowering Lives

Each wreath is hand-cut and meticulously tied by skilled women artisans in India who have been trained in tailoring through our partner charity. We focus on slow craft and fair-wage employment rather than mass production.

This thoughtful process ensures exceptional detail and depth—creating a textile piece that customers often say looks just as beautiful on the back as it does on the front.

A One-of-a-Kind Zero-Waste Statement

Because no two rescued sari offcuts are identical, every single fabric rag wreath is uniquely one-of-a-kind. Designed in London, it brings unmatched warmth and character to your front door, hallway wall, or festive table setting.

It is more than just home decor—it is a sustainable, zero-waste statement piece built to bring joy to your home season after season.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the wreaths made of?

Our wreaths are handcrafted using rescued upcycled sari fabric offcuts. Hundreds of fabric strips are carefully hand-cut and tied onto a sturdy frame, preventing textile waste from ending up in landfill while creating a rich, textured display.

Who makes the wreaths?

Each wreath is hand-crafted by underprivileged women in India who have been trained in tailoring through our partner charity. Every purchase directly empowers these artisans and supports their livelihoods.

Can I hang my wreath outside?

Yes, you can hang your wreath on a front door, but we recommend placing it in a sheltered area. Avoiding prolonged exposure to heavy rain and direct sunlight helps preserve the vibrant fabric colours and quality.

How is the wreath packaged?

Your wreath is carefully wrapped in eco-friendly packaging that aligns with our zero-waste ethos, ensuring it arrives safely and ready to be displayed or gifted.

How do I clean or "refresh" my wreath?

To dust or refresh your wreath, gently shake it out or use a hair dryer on a cool setting. You can also tease out the fabric strips by hand to bring back its original volume and shape.

Can I send this as a gift?

Absolutely! The recycled sari wreath makes a thoughtful, sustainable gift with a social cause. You can ship directly to the recipient, and every piece carries a beautiful story of artisan empowerment.

Are the colours exactly like the photo?

Because each wreath is crafted from unique reclaimed sari textiles, subtle variations in exact patterns and shades will occur. This makes your wreath truly one-of-a-kind while staying true to your chosen colourway option (e.g., Multi, Pinks, Greens, Spring).
